Description

We seek a Customer Fulfillment Rep 2 to join our team in Bellingham, WA. This person will be responsible for managing entry level tier accounts (typically accounts valued at up to $50K in annual revenue). They will provide administrative support by routing inbound calls within department, managing CFR staffing, maintaining filing systems and PO routing and tracking, preparing daily reports. This position also assists customers and Account Specialists as required to support the business operations for the Customer Fulfillment department.          

 

Responsibilities:

  • Verify correct sales price and terms on purchase/sales orders and create new part numbers in SAP as required

  • Develop relationships with respective accounts; provide timely order status information to the account and to the outside sales force

  • Support the outside sales force and assist them in managing the customer relationship

  • Manage ORC orders up to $20K

  • Interface with Applications Engineering to match quotes with purchase orders and enter new part numbers into SAP for products being ordered that are not established in the system

  • Develop logistics skill set for managing complex international shipments as required

  • Verify accuracy of customer purchase orders and enter sales orders into SAP

  • Manage and correctly route inbound customer call activity

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries relating to order status

  • Learn technical aspects of the products being sold within the applicable department

  • Provide customer order information to departments within the company, including shipping, receiving, accounting and purchasing/planning

  • Prepare daily reports, to include PO metrics report, Backlog report and the Shipped Not Invoiced report

  • Assist in answering overflow calls and provide back-up for absent co-workers

  • Perform administrative duties as needed including manage the In/Out board, coordinate timesheets and vacation schedules, maintain order filing system, route inbound PO's and other customer-specific documents to the correct department

Additional responsibilities may include completing special projects as required by management or Account Specialists. 

 

Requirements and Skills:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 - 2 years in field of customer service or technical (electronics, communications, etc.)

 

  •  Ability to follow written and verbal directions in the English language
  • Strong reading, writing, and math skills

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Work well under pressure

  • Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record

  • Ability to positively interface with both internal and external customers

  • Ability to work independently on project assignments

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers and all levels of staff

  • Ability to follow up and seek resolution to customer problems

  • Positive attitude toward problem-solving

  • Record of superior attendance

 

PC Application Skills:

Basic level: PowerPoint, Adobe

Intermediate level: Outlook, Word, Excel

 

Desirable:

  • ERP/SAP experience

  • Multi-lingual skills; Spanish preferred

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Alpha product lines and processes

  • 2 year degree
