Description

We seek a Regional Sales Manager for its Broadband Services team in Denver, CO. This person is responsible for all Broadband Service sales activity in certain assigned geographic areas.  Cable Head End experience or Telecom Facilities experience is a plus.  Candidates should have knowledge on DC Power, UPS systems, Generators, HVAC systems and AC Electrical work.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide primary account or territory management for Broadband Services group

  • Interface between sales management, service representatives, customers and contractors

  • Manage assigned Broadband Services accounts through direct contact with customers and representatives

  • Assist customers in the creation of quotes, designs, layouts, and project management

  • Coordinate with Broadband Services to manage project timelines and customer expectations

  • Present customer with Alpha product solutions and packaged service offerings

  • Coordinate with Customer Fulfillment department to manage product delivery and order entry

  • Update SharePoint with quotes and project time lines

  • Prepare customer quotations based on leads generated by sales management, representatives, and direct contact with customers

  • Provide sales call support including site surveys to Broadband Service organization

  • Use application engineering to assist with product quotes and surveys when necessary

  • Share joint responsibility with national sales management to achieve Broadband Services sales goals

 

Education:  Bachelor Degree or equivalent military training in field of engineering or business related

Experience:  4 - 6 years in technical sales and/or applications engineering 


Supervisory Experience:  2 - 4 years

  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions in the English language 
  • Ability to speak/read/write English
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Sufficient credit line for business expenses
  • Available weekends and after hours when on call
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Professional appearance and dress
  • Customer friendly
  • Ability to learn application specific software (i.e. SharePoint)


PC Application Skills:
Basic level:  Visio
Intermediate level:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook


Travel Requirements: Expected 50 - 75%

 

Desirable:

  • Experience with AC and DC standby power systems, enclosures, batteries and power system infrastructure requirements
  • Experience with AC and DC standby power including batteries, rectifiers, inverters 
  • Outdoor electronics enclosure experience
  • Working knowledge of AC and DC metering and test equipment
